Born in China in 1910, Dr Kenneth McAll graduated in medicine from Edinburgh University. He returned to China as a missionary-surgeon, and was interned by the Japanese, with his wife and child, for four years during the Second World War. His experiences in China led to interest in the powers of possession’, and he has devoted his life since then to the curing of psychiatric illness through divine guidance. After returning to England, he spent ten years in general practice, and has practised as a consultant psychiatrist for twenty-five years. He is an Associate Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and has written, in both articles and books, on mental illness and the healing powers of the Eucharist.
