“Following the Jewish Revolt in Jerusalem during the 1st century AD, the Roman overlords were reputed to have destroyed all records concerning the Davidic legacy of Jesus the Messiah’s family. The destruction was far from complete, however, and relevant documents were retained by Jesus’s heirs, who brought the Messianic heritage from the Near East to the West.
